Mayssa Kachicho is a mixed media Greek-Lebanese artist based in London.

Her work is centered around the human form and facial distortion, amplified by an abstract approach, a high-level of detail and contrasting colors. The size of her pieces range from A4 sketches to 1mx1m oil paintings, and include various mediums: black ink, pencil, oil pastels, water colour paint and oil paint.

Mayssa is influenced by her travels and exposure to different cultures, as well as her multifaceted background. She is self-taught and draws her inspiration from Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud and Jenny Saville, among others.
